Resetting through the CIMS portal usually completes within minutes. Through the CIDB hotline, it may take 1-3 working days.

How to Reset CIMS ID & CIDB Password

If you have forgotten your CIMS (Construction Industry Management System) user ID or password, follow the guide below to reset your account.

Reset via CIMS Portal

Step 1: Visit the CIMS portal at cims.cidb.gov.my
Step 2: Click "Forgot Password" on the login page
Step 3: Enter your IC number or passport number
Step 4: Check the registered email for the reset link
Step 5: Follow the instructions in the email to set a new password
